Scuba Diving in Goa at Malwan, is something you must be able to say you have done. The underwater world below the sea is something to behold. All of our diving instructors are seasoned divers and will help you make your dream become a reality.

You will learn the basics of Scuba Diving

We have many first time divers on our Malwan trip and we offer both safety and adventure for you to enjoy. You will have a 45-minute training session on land where you will learn about the equipment, safety and how to Scuba Dive. You will then head out in the boat for an unforgettable 20-minute dive. If you have dived before it is still a great trip to do in the beautiful waters around Malwan.

Video

On request, we have our cameraman ready to film you on your underwater adventure. You will receive a 3-minute video clip of you underwater, that you can keep and share on social media. This is a great way to remember your experience and show your friends. We offer this Scuba Dive diving video at just by Rs. 250/- per person. Please request in advance of your dive.

Certificate

For you to show that you have indeed been Scuba diving, we offer a basic Scuba Dive Certificate. This you can take home with you and put up on your wall at home, a great memory to have. We offer this Scuba Dive Certificate for just Rs. 300. Please ask when you arrive for your dive so that we can prepare it for you. We also offer a more advanced Scuba Dive Certificate here.

07:30am to 08:00am: Pick-up Pick up from all hotels in Baga, Calangute, Arpora, Nagoa, Candolim, Sinquerim. 09:00 am to 10:00am: Breakfast Stop for breakfast at the restaurant 10:00am to 11:00am: Boat Jetty Proceed to Boat Jetty in Malwan District for Scuba diving 11:00 am to 11:30 am Boat Ride to diving spot 11:30am to 12:00am: Training Training session for scuba diving 12:00am to 2:00pm : Diving 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm Proceed back to Boat jetty 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm Re energize yourself with dry set of clothes, water and some fresh fruits. 2:30 pm to 3:30pm : Lunch 3:30pm to 5:00pm Proceed back to hotel

Why learn to dive with Atlantis Watersports? How old does one need to be to dive?

Atlantis Watersports’ proficiency in the following makes it an unbeatable destination for all your water sports needs – We put your safety first, enjoy watersports and trips at unbeatable prices, book easily online, one-of-a-kind excursions, trained & fully qualified staff and we enjoy the goodwill of our customers to the extent that almost 80% of them are either repeat of referred to by our existing customers.Anyone over 10 years of age. Having said that, we grant an exception for a few 8 and 9 year olds provided they meet a certain criteria as laid down by our professional divers.

Is there any maximum age limit?

While you must be at least 10 years of age to be a certified diver, you can never be too old to attempt it.

Is it a difficult sport to learn?

No, it isn’t. If you’re comfortable in the water and can swim it will be a walk in the park. However, if you aren’t any of those two things, our instructors will make sure you comfortable to a level where you can enjoy it as well.

Is it dangerous?

No, it isn’t. Whenever injuries do occur though, it is only because careful attention wasn’t paid during training or the instructor wasn’t certified.

Why do my ears hurt when I dive down?

This usually happens when the water pressure on your eardrums aren’t equal. While training with us you will learn techniques to correct this phenomenon which may help you when you are on your next flight too.

I wear contacts, will that be a problem?

Not at all. Make sure your face mask is fastened correctly so that water doesn’t fill up in them and you will be fine.

What should a diver never do before diving?

Never drink and dive, never eat a big meal before you dive and never lie about any medical condition you may have to your dive instructor before you dive.

What is the meaning of ‘Certification’?

You get a certificate when you have completed all the training and safety tasks related to scuba diving successfully.

What does PADI stand for?

Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

Can health conditions prevent me from diving?

Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.

Do I need to book in advance and if so, how far?

While anyone who is reasonably fit and in good health can scuba dive, there are some who cannot. For example pregnant women should not dive, while people with a history of lung disease or injury must consult their physician before diving.

What do I need to carry with me when I come?

If you don’t want to be at the receiving end of a fully booked diving schedule, it is advisable to book in advance.

Is it possible for a non-diver to go onboard a dive?

A bathing suit, towel, toiletries, T-shirts, shorts, and sunscreen lotion.

Is it necessary to be a good swimmer or an experienced diver to scuba dive?

Non-divers and snorkelers are welcome on all live aboard. Do bear in mind though that most of these cruises are designed primarily for diving, not snorkeling. Prices for non-divers are Rs. 1500/- per person but children’s below 5 years are not allowed onboard. But please ask for exact details.

Am I allowed to dive with breasts implants or while I’m on my monthly cycle?

No, it is not as our trained personnel have the expertise to cater to beginners as well as experienced divers.

Can I scuba dive while pregnant?

Yes, it is okay. While diving abroad however or in other local waters, it may be wise to check with the concerned party before you dive in.

How long do I need to wait before I can sit on a flight after diving?

No, it is not.

Can I arrange for a pick-up at my hotel?

A minimum of 18 and 12 hours of rest is required by experts and beginners respectively before they can board their flights.

Can group bookings avail discounts?

Yes, though at an additional cost.

Will photos of my dive be available and will I have to purchase them?

Yes, they can.

Should we tip the staff or is it included in the package?

Yes, we have dive photographers go along for diving sessions. Photos of your dive will be available for viewing after your dive and can be downloaded for free off our facebook page in the following day or two. Video clips of the dive can be purchased at Rs. 1000 per person.

Can I cancel my scuba trip?

That is left completely up to your discretion. Gratuity is never frowned upon though.

How many people can the boat accommodate?

Kindly review our cancellation policy for the same.

Does a diving instructor accompany everyone on the trip?

Minimum 3 & maximum of 20

How deep will I be scuba diving?

Yes, as we take safety very seriously.

What is the duration of the drive?

Approximately 12 meters.

Will I get a certificate after I complete my diving course?

A dive usually lasts an average of 30min, sometimes a little less or more depending on the individual’s comfort level.

What will I be able to see underwater?

Yes, a PADI certificate can be given for an extra Rs. 500/- per person.

Will we be provided with breakfast and lunch?

Corals and a variety of tropical fish.
